The best 8 months...

I can't believe its been 8 months since the day I knelt across the altar and stared into those piercing blue eyes and promised to be his for eternity. Is there anything more beautiful than being sealed in the temple?
Sometimes I look through the pictures of my wedding day and think to myself, "wow, that girl didn't even know this guy!" and I can't believe I got married after dating for only 6 weeks...so Utah! I was never going to be one of "those" girls. But here we are! 8 months later, and happy as ever.
We are in the process of getting a closet installed in the back room. I can't wait to hang up my clothes!! After they finish we are hoping to make that room our own, I am so excited. Anyway, in the process of making room for the workers, I discovered that there is a lot of burried treasure back there. Including the LOST CD of our engagements!! I just about jumped right out the window with excitement!! I thought it was lost forever. This is one of its little treasures. I love Keith's expression. :)

New York

First of all, I can take no credit whatsoever for any of the pictures taken here. Full credit belongs to the beautful and as you can see very talented Kjrsten Madsen Dyer. I didn't have a camera. Sad, I know. Most of these pictures are already posted on Kjrstens blog. But here they are again. :)The wonderful thing about this great city is that no matter how many times you visit, you can always see something or do something new... And who knew we could cram so much fun into 2 short days?

Banks Lake

Ah...Banks lake. Here are some things to love about Banks:
The smooth, glassy water that dances under your wakeboard. Steam boat rock. The cove. The party barge. soft serve ice-cream. The "Damn" lazer show that never gets old. The Columbia River Inn. the morning stop at SafeWay. R&A's pancakes. Midgey. The chicklets in their swimsuits. Da boys eating da sand. the family together. the hot tub soak after a day at the lake. foil dinners. watching the Dyer boys wakeboard.
Events that happened on this trip:
-Marion got up on one ski.
-Alexis, Anna, and I all got stung by Bees.
-Duff killed not one, but TWO snakes! Scary.
-Keith and I drove to Moses Lake to visit my grandpa. It only took a little over an hour from the Lake. It was worth it. I'll never tire of listening to his stories or giving him hugs. Other than his hearing, he doesn't appear to be 94. His spirit is so young. He is my hero.

Handy Man and Apples

Keith is a man of many talents. I just watched him build man-shelves in our garage with his bare hands. They look amazing. And who says building forts as a kid won't get you places?! I was watching him when I heard a distressed bark and saw that Millie had discovered an apple on the ground and was frantically trying to keep it away from Roscoe. He chased her around bushes, over flowers, under the lawn furniture until he finally snatched it right out of her mouth. What I saw next was a wild race between two beasts. He was fast. He managed to keep it from her all the while pausing periodically to take a bite or two of his prize, it was hilarious. I don't know what it is about Dachshunds and my husband, I could watch both of them for hours. :)

Its true! I have a BLOG!

Electronics. Not my forte. Maybe that explains why I was the last person on the planet to get a cell phone, own my very first computer at the ancient age of 27, and learn that the difference between an HP and Apple isn't that one is a fruit. But here I am! Hopping right onto the blogging train!!
