Happy Anniversary

To the Love of my Life,
You have brought more happiness into my life in the past two years than I ever thought possible. Thank you for being such a wonderful father, husband, and friend. Knowing that I am sealed to you and that you are mine forever has brought so much peace to my heart. Here is to many many more years of fun!
Happy Anniversary!
I love you

They call it Love

I tumbled back into bed around 4am after feeding Josh. Keith opens his eyes, looks at me and says, "You're smart." I smiled, not sure if he was awake or not and responded with a kiss and I told him he was really smart too. Of course he didn't remember saying that, but it sure made me feel good! I'm pretty sure that's how every woman wants to wake up to Valentines Day.  :)

I love Valentines Day. I love the chocolate, the roses, the hearts, the pink and red everywhere. I enjoy sappy chick flicks, and listening to gooey love music. The only thing I missed this year was working with the preschool kids. I guess working with little kids made all the Holidays more enjoyable, and this year I missed making cards and passing out candy and valentines. Ah...good times. So I decided to make my own cards this year, and I busted out the little craftiness from deep within and was actually fairly proud of myself!
And I have nothing to complain about. This year I have two very special boys in my life that make every day worth living. :) So here is to them!

Keith surprised me with these GORGEOUS roses. I wish these pictures actually did them justice!!
I decorated out kitchen a little and we enjoyed a nice candle-light home made dinner! Mmmmm!!!
The loves of my life.
Am I lucky or what?!!!

Praying for you

We had a special fast for my beautiful Gannah today. I can't even begin to describe the strong spirit this woman carries. I am so grateful for her example, her testimony, her positive attitude, her spirit, her friendship, her cinnamon rolls, her laughter, and I will be eternally grateful that she is the mother of my sweetheart. Why do the most wonderful people have to get cancer? Its not fair.
Over the short 2 years I have known her, she has shared with me many words of wisdom. Whenever she has come to Utah or I have gone to Washington, we always find ourselves deep in conversation. I cherish those memories, and adore this beautiful lady inside and out. Something I admire about her, and hope to encorporate into my own life is the way she constantly bears her testimony. She doesn't let anyone pass her without sharing what she knows in her heart to be true, and she does it in a way that is so natural. Its amazing. No one can doubt that she knows our Savior and is familiar with the plan he has prepared for us here on earth. Her battle with this ugly disease is hard to watch. She is constantly in our prayers, and we selfishly hope she will linger with us forever.  :)
Here are a few pictures over Christmas that I took with her and Josh.

We love you Gannah!!!

Happy February

We've arrived.
Presenting...
dun dun dun dun...
The Bumbo Chair!

Seriously, have you ever seen anything cuter than this??
Who ever thought of this contraption is a genius!
Josh loves his Bumbo.
He'll wobble his head and watch the going and coming of our household from this little throne.

He's so proud of himself for sitting up!

He has Keith's big eyes. They both make this expression a lot. Its adorable.

So there we have it. I can't believe my baby is 3 months! Where does the time go? This past month has been focused on establishing a routine. I finally feel like I am getting the hang of being a mom. I know what all his different cries mean, what makes him tick, the best way to coax him to sleep, and most importantly how to make him laugh and smile. I've been trying to get a good picture of him laughing, he'll do it, but when the camera is in front of his face he freezes and just stares at the camera. I can't get him to crack until the camera is not in front of him anymore! Its funny to watch.
I can't believe its February. I love the month of February. Valentines Day, my anniversary, its the month of LOVE!!

I still need to write my new years resolutions. A month late won't make that big of a difference will it?
Starting with losing the extra 10 pounds to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight. Lets face it, I miss the way my clothes used to fit. So this month and henceforth I really want to make time to exercise. It would be more motivating if it wasn't so dang cold outside!!! The groundhog supposedly saw his shadow, but here in Utah that doesn't mean much. The cold weather can be expected to linger well into June. I am not one of those die-hard BYU runners that can breath in the 15 degree air. No thank you. I'll wait until it warms up.
This is a really random post I just realized.
